Saturday in Salmina

For now, the sun is shining, but I'm not sure how long it will last.  I should be outside enjoying it, but instead I am here at my Mac in the studio, learning about this blogging stuff.

I thought that today I would put up a few photos from around the island.  Well, thinking it was easier then doing it...but I think I have it mastered now.  I will give it a try...let me know what you think;-)

The BEST bakery in Greece!
Me with Vero, a visitor

  1. Ooooooh! I just love the photos! The church is gorgeous, and looks exactly like what I would think a church in the Greek Isles would look like! Vero? Is that her name? I think the word means truth, but I'm not sure...

  2. Vero is the girl at the port...Sarah is the girl at the church. Sarah is from Wabasso, but lives in Barcelona. Vero (actually "Bero" in Catalan) is from Spain. The two of them came to Dad and Cat sit while Vasili and I went to Crete. Sarah comes often.
There are so many beautiful churches on Salamina...I will go out one day to photograph them. I once had a big collection of photos of the local churches, but when my computer crashed ;-( I lost them.
